Subject: can the interior of a westy be pulled, with the a/c unit left in?

after the 4th I am going to jerk the interior out of my westy, and tackle the seam rust once and for all, I plan on using POR-15 products inside and out, then having the van Rhino Lined on the bottom, then up to the seams.

I have seam rust coming back, at the hookups (seam) and rear fender wheels both sides, so i am going to remove the interior

Questions:

Can I leave the hanging A/c unit in there, or does it need to be pulled.

Do I need to pull the rear of the interior to get to the the wheel well seams?

I plan on pulling the watertank cabinets and frig to get to those seams at the hookups.

Once again thanks for the help, hoping someone has BTDT already and has a lesson learned for me.

Once again thanks,

Mark
