I'm not SURE this answers your question, but I pulled out the wires that power the over-sink light and ran them down the aluminum track holding down the poptop canvas and then inward toward the center of the rear top bunk (the part that doesn't move) and ran the wires over the plywood (and under the padding) to power lamps in the rear without visible wires.

I don't know if these wires (they come to the kitchen light via the parcel tray) go forward at all, but they can be extended back as I describe.
