Subject: Rear hatch lock source

Howdy List,

I'm adding after market power locks to my 84 Westy. I need to replace my non-power lock machanism in the hatch with one that will accept the actuator rod from the new lock motor. Can anyone tell me where I can find a lock machanism designed for power locks?

Also, I purchased a universal sliding door contact set that is a little too big to fit on the Vanagon slider. Anyone know where I can get the OEM contact set?

An earlier post on this suggested vanagonparts.com. I emailed them about 3 weeks ago, but never heard back from them. Their website made a reference to a European parts-buying excursion. Maybe they're still gone...

Thanks, Brian
