My pump has recently siezed up. If I start the impeller by hand, it will go on for a bit. It seems to be a totally sealed/non-sericable unit. Are there replacements available, other than the factory unit offered at gowesty? I am not as concerned about the price as ease of obtaining. I looked at Boaters World and Marine West, they have a couple 12v 1gpm units, but they both are external and need to be below the tank. An external pump in the Westy would need to be able to pump vertically a few feet due to the position of the water hoses.

Anyone know of a common source for 12v submersible pumps, since the boat stores dont have them? Should an RV store? What specs should I look for? I suppose low power/efficiency is more important than water pressure.

thanks
