Subject: 84 westy sliding door handle "seal"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed

I've been trying to track down a replacement seal pictured in Bentley 58.2 (exploded along with the spacer and trim ring) for a replacement sliding door handle (used from Steve Sandlin) on my 84 westy. It is the actual OEM long handle for 80-84, not a sawed off short handle for the later redesigned sliding door. The handle may be original - POS on it for good measure, the used replacement has WTO instead of POS...coincidence?.

Does the seal come with a new handle?

Will any of the list vendors sell me just the seal?

Also, for those of you with the infamous broken POS handle, Steve was competitively priced and his service was outstanding - I still have one key for my van. He also made me water tank keys without the expensive DOM blanks that work perfectly.
