So you on the other hand are a well seasoned list veteran but one who
has never had his propane tank filled before?  I did not detect any
flames in Mike's post, just a wonderment that there was some place where
the customer was allowed to partake in the propane tank filling
ceremony. In SoCal where both Mike and I reside one is usually expected
to keep a respectable distance from the ceremony. I mostly frequent a
certain place near my home where depending on who is on duty and which
VW Camper I am filling I may have to take a more active role but I am
also recognized as a regular and allowed more leeway. The tanks with
Auto Stop valves tend to befuddle all who dare try to fill them. Is
yours one of these?
