Amen. I've had this happen on two cars, and it is maddening. My rule now is somewhere around 7 years the rubber lines get replaced. They are fairly cheap, and it beats the heck out of overheating your brakes. It also avoids the endless tedious bearing and brake adjustments, trying to figure out why one wheel will intermittently heat up.
