Subject: Update on "Oil wanrning light and buzzer go off when going uphill"
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I want to thank everybody that gave me advice on my oil warning issue. Changing to a heavier weight oil and a new filter eliminated the problem as of today. I hope this is a permanent fix... I'm planning on buying an oil pressure gauge this week and checking the oil pressure directly just to be sure. It would be nice if I could somehow check it under load...ie going up the steep hills where I was getting the warning. Any suggestions? I'm also considering putting in some additional gauges on my dash (oil pressure, oil temperature, voltage). I'll be converting to a TDI sometime this summer hopefully...any suggestions on additional gauges for a TDI?

Once again, thanks to everybody who helped out.

Brett
