Subject:      To paint or replace dash? that is the question

Hello all,
    Im as many know in the process of restoring an 80
westy...Its orig color was Assuan brown....Ack...the
outside has been painted what im sure was bright
orange on top, and chocolate brown on the bottom
(again, Ack)...Im looking to eventually go to some
sort of green...I was originally thinking carribean
green (93 eurovan) but then I have brown interior,
which in my opinion doesnt go with a color that light,
If I go with velvet green (60s bus) I could keep the
brown interior, and it would be a fairly good
match...or repaint or replace the dash...Any thoughts?
 How expensive are the dash parts?  How well does
paint hold up in this application?  Should I just stay
with brown and go darker on the shade of green?  Just
conducting a sort of mini poll...Any thoughts would be
great.
