Jean-Woo,

Did you happen to notice if the tach went to zero immediately when it stalled? The first thing I would check is the connection to the Hall-Effect sensor in the distributor, the plastic connection piece can get old and break, allowing the wires to short to ground. Be very careful in disconnecting the plug, as it will be extremely brittle.

Also on the relay box (left hand side of engine compartment, above the coil) check the plug that goes into the box, that can vibrate loose.

Failing those checks finding the problem, it's back to finding which item you are missing - fuel, air or spark...
