I take it you are saying the inside of the bolt head is stripped out so you can't turn it, and you are therefore trying to grasp it with the vise grips to turn it. Loosen the outboard CV - remove the bolts so that the CV can be moved around. Cut the head off the offending bolt at the transmission. Remove all the other bolts on the same CV. You should now have enough of a range of movement ot get the CV off over the remaining sawed off bolt. The sawed off bolt should now have enough material sticking out that you can really get a good grip on the bolt with the Vise-Grips. Worked for me.
