Actually GMAC writes a lot of warrantee services on conversion vehicles. That is because usually none of the originals will warrantee the work at all. In this case the seller is a GM dealership which gives him access to the GMAC programs. I noted that the vehicle has smoke, CO, and LPG detectors. The vehicle is the Westfalia version of the sprinter sold in europe that Airstream brought in and then added the Airstream top to it. Or as they put it "uplifted" and sold by airstream. <http://www.airstream.com/product_line/touring_coaches/westfalia_home.html> jimt On 5/25/05 10:31 AM, "Aristotle Sagan" <killer.jupiter@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > Notice that it's a Dodge/Westy/Airstream with a warranty by General Motors. > I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. > > tim in san jose > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Jeff Oxroad" <Oxroad@AOL.COM> > To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> > Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 11:39 PM > Subject: 2005 Westfalia Airstream on ebay $64K > > >> I wanted to give you all the heads up on this great deal on a Westfalia > on >> Ebay.
