the fridges on my '82 and '87, since sold, ran beautifully -- never cracked a colder, crispier lager at the end of a long day on a hot road. these things are bone simple, a little like a coleman stove, so if yours is not working, not merely well but very well, then some simple repairs are likely in order and you'll be glad you made them. cheers, art ------------
