I've got a 10 pound Halon extinguisher that I have hanging in front of and
below the front passenger seat. It was easy to bolt up the bracket, it is
within easy reach of the driver, and it doesn't get in the way of the
passenger. Halon is very well suited to extinguish vehicle fires as it
doesn't leave any residue, and a 10 pound canister should be able to put out
all but the most viscous vehicle fires. The bottle can be refilled also,
although not inexpensively.
Hope I never have to use it.
Cheers,
Bruce
