Like a goober, I didn't mark the location of the flex plate bolt holes when I removed the torque converter flex plate bolts. I realized when putting things back together that its fairly easy to locate them after you find the first one. ;-) 1. Rotate flex plate so that there is no hole in the bolt window (mine was already this way after adjusting valves) 2. Center hole in torque converter in bolt window - mark location on bellhousing 3. Count the "ribs" on the torque converter (not sure what they are called) in this sequence b r r r r r r r b r r r r r r r b - marking each bolt hole location on the bellhousing 4. Now you can rotate the crank to get one flex plate bolt hole in the window Now that you have one bolt in, the rest are easy to locate. |
