Heater cable and heater valve can be done in the driveway, but I prefer to buy parts from list vendors and let my mechanic struggle with the job.

Having looked at the diagram a question popped into my mind.

My front heater is always on... I assume then that this is because the cable that controls the valve in the diagram is either broken, bent, or weak.

Has anyone replaced this before? Digging around in the dash is a bit of a nightmare in my experience.
