I have a pair of 7.5 pound Halon extinguishers, one by the driver's seat <http://tinyurl.com/cd8nw> and another inside by the slider in the standard westy location. Halons are only rated for liquid or electrical fires, but that's mostly what you'd run into in a vehicle fire, right? One advantage to Halons have over dry powder is that they have a practically indefinite shelf life. The disadvantage is that Halon is CFC and no longer made, thus all Halon extinguishers are filled with Halon from an ever-diminishing pool of the stuff and it's quite a bit more expensive.
