I mounted one of my fire extinguishers on the flat area immediately to the left of the driver's seat on the carpet. This location makes for quick access as you leave the vehicle. Admittedly, this location will not allow for very large fire extinguishers.. Dan 89 Westy 4speed (Enu) Currently having a rebuilt engine installed.

"...if I didn't have a fuse block and inverter mounted on the cabinets behind the drivers seat, I'd move the large extinguisher to that area so that it can be grabbed on the way out to get to an engine fire."
