does anyone have any experience with gurgel here?  i wonder if any were
ever imported.  they are a brazilian off road buggy that was built with
a lot of volkswagen components.  my father in law just bought his
second, a beautiful silver x12, a 1985 model with only 57k km on it.  it
has an air cooled 1600 in the back.  he also has a yellow convertible
one.  He lives in Rio, where my wife was born and raised.
