Subject: window regulator question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I have my driver door panel off, trying to cure the window glass tipping back when first starting to roll up the window. ('87 Syncro w/non-power windows.)

It appears there is a foam block, sort of L-shaped) inside the rear of the door, just above the door handle, whose "L" keeps the glass in place when fully down. In mine, the foam is chewed into and thus the glass can slip/rock back until it is far enough up the window channels for them to hold it.

Yet, I can't find this piece in either Bentley or ETKA. Can anyone give information on this part, the cure for my problem or other good advice?

Thanks, Richard A Jones Boulder, Colorado
