Subject: Luggage Rack Stashing
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

Okay . . . thinking out loud here.

I stash my long-term camping stuff into a big zippered Cordura bag that goes up on the luggage rack. The tent, sun shade, shower shelter, inflatables, and other stuff I don't expect to use when doing overnighters. As a result, this big ol' zippered bag gets too heavy to one-hand lift onto the rack. My other hand is holding desperately onto the edge of the roof so I don't tumble down.

So I was thinking . . . most of these items are stored in individual stuff sacks, which means I have a bunch of these big nylon wieners that I gotta store up there. What if this big ol' Cordura bag had it's zipper on one side, instead of along its length, so I could open up an end and pull items out one at a time? Has anyone seen anything like that?
