Tim you're right... the width and height are standard, but having done this job last weekend, it seems around 6 1/2" is really the max depth receiver you can fit. This leaves you with a lot of choices though.

I squeezed in a no frills Kenwood KDC-128 CD receiver. Can't wait to take advantage of the Cracker Barrel books-on-CD exchange thing next time I have to go any distance on the interstate! My 1984 tape deck had gotten a habit of eviscerating tapes and spitting out the ribbon. best, Robert H Ithaca, NY '84 Westy "Busaru"
