Hey guys, should that fridge stay on on propane wile driving... in windy condition.... i was never able to drive with my fridge ON on propane...

I have a customer who said that it should be!!! possible... i have super cleaned that fridge and it goes off?

Benny Boy, the fridge should work and not blow out while driving if all fridge propane systems are functioning as they were designed. I have driven my '87 Westy on all trips in all kinds of conditions over the last 10 years with the fridge working on LP and it has never blown out unless there was a malfunction of some sort. The intake and exhaust tracks must be sealed the entire length, no air leaks anywhere, very important ! The exhaust port on the outside of the van must be sealed to the van body and all the pieces inside must be in good condition and installed in the proper order. The regulator pressure must be correct. And, there is no danger in having the fridge working on propane while driving. The flame is sealed in a combustion chamber at the bottom of the fridge and if that combustion chamber is intact and as designed the flame cannot come in contact with anything flammable.
