hehehe,

great. thats the total opposite of me. my packing starts before the packing - I make itemized excel spreadsheets featuring literally anything that wants to come along. and guess what? it also features the weight of every item. so i am the one sitting in the living room with a kitchen scale weighing my t-shirts, compass, spare batteries......... ii hope i am not reinforcing any prejudices about germans here.... ok i only do the weighing thing if canoeing or especially hiking or biking is involved. i am slightly more relaxed for car-camping. i was really maxing it out on this tour though: www.outdoorinsider.com maybe i am over-doing it whatever. i work as an outdoor guide in scandinavia, and i tell you many times i would like to send a free kitchen scale to anyone who signs up for the trips.
