Propane is around $2 a gallon. Some places more. The Westy tank will only take 2.5 gallons before the shut off valve closes. Some places do have a minimum charge but I think a fill should always be $10 or less.

I usually fill about twice a year all ways at the same place. For years it has only cost between $2-3 to fill depending if empty. Last time they wanted to charge me $20 (the cost to fill a 20# tank). How much do other pay to fill the Westfalia tank?
