Subject: Aftermarket Window Controller = Bad Fit...anybody else?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello All:

Awhile back (read: years) I purchased an Aftermarket Window Controller from Ken at Vanagain for the drivers side window in my 1990 Carat. I had it installed...and the mechanic left the window switch button assembly hanging by its wires out fo the hole. He said there was no way to get the wires/switch to fit back in the hole with the new Controller installed.

I called Ken about this and he assured me it fits. 2 other list members however said they had the same problem and couldn't find a solution.

Anyway...I had more important things to worry about...so I have had the switch hanging there ever since...and I'm really getting sick of looking at it.

Anyone else experience trouble getting the wires and switch to fit on an aftermarket unit?

Suggestions appreciated before I begin tearing into the door panel.

Cheers! Kevin
