i think the 1-inch would be better. i dimly recall those plastic sleeves being larger than 1/2 inch.

my question is, how LONG a piece are you buying when you order this stuff from .jegs?? one foot? three feet? twenty feet? or is that the price per foot/inch/millimeter? i don't see anything on the page that mentions length. :(
