The key to parting out a Vanagon is to strip off every part that can be shipped UPS, FED x, or by US mail and clean them up. Photograph them and wait patiently for someone on the several Vanagon list to ask for the part. I lurk the Vanagon and Type II list and offer parts when I have them.
