So I changed out my fuel lines on Saturday, and took the opportunity to put in a new fuel pump and filter. The lines behind the firewall and to and from the tank were original! Borrowed time there... Anyway, I'd like to carry the replaced, but still operative, fuel pump as a spare. Is there anything I should do to store it properly? I'd like to avoid finding a siezed pump when I or another Vanagon in need expect a working pump. Thanks! David McCallum '89 Westy - "Boris" |
