The new Bosch fuel pump I bought on ebay several months ago(NOS pump from a Porsche/german car shop in California) had been filled with mineral oil to prevent what you're afraid of. Can't imagine 5-6 oz. of mineral oil gumming up the injectors, especially if you dumped 1/2-2/3 of it out before installing!!
