It runs from August 29 to September 5, although many, many people tend to
leave on the 4th.
Clothing is optional, however, 90% of the people do wear clothes.
Sunscreen should be mandatory, but if you like to burn (literally), feel
free to go without.
No fast food. As a matter of fact, the only items you can purchase are ice
and coffee (go figure).
Temp? All over the place. Last year it was high 80's during the day and
downright frosty at night. This year... who knows. Bring clothes for temps
between 40 & 110.
No A/C.
I believe tickets are currently selling for $225.
Drugs are optional... an open mind is required.
There are many Burning Women in attendance.
Vanagons are optional but highly recommended.
Check out http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/, everything you need to
know (and many things you don't) can be found there.
THE MAN BURNS IN 95 DAYS.......
Cheers,
Jeff

Thanks, I'll have to check into it some more-
It goes for a whole week, ending on Labor Day? No one wears any clothes?
Sunscreen is optional? There is no fast food? The ave. temp is 134 degrees?
There is no AC? It costs like $400 a ticket? Drugs are optional? There are
Burning Women in attendance? Vanagons are optional? So may questions, less
than 100 days to find out.
Wild rumors & visions are floating in my head!
Tom
