The file "1980 - 1991" (which can be opened with Notepad) at http://gerry.vanagon.com/files/model-years/ lists " Aero-style wheel covers" for 1985. This suggests that the flat gray hubcaps were added in 1985. You see, Mellow Yellow has three of the flat gray ones, and one other mis-matched gray plastic VW hub cap. So I'm thinking I would like to match them up. I could get four chrome moonies, or just find a fourth gray plastic disc. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 83.5 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") KG6RCR |
