I think there is plenty of air movement over the fins. I've often thought of putting an auxillary fan (solar powered, cause that's when the fridge needs the assistance most) in the access hatch for the vent stack.

It's been my experience that I get a fair amount of warm air moving up on the back side of the stove, but that it is partly hindered by the curtains (and stove top when open). I figure that the access hatch grll is near enough to the top and than an auxillary fan blowing the heated air out at the point can only help.

The only reason I haven't followed through on this (outside of laziness), is the pain of carefully running the wires so that they'll be (mostly) hidden. Putting the solar sell on the poptop works out pretty well too as the angle of the poptop (if I park correctly) lines up the solar cell with the sun better.
