What does it signify, that the only people foolish enough to actually head out full time in a Vanagon - on the road, not in someone's driveway - are the ones who don't know anything about car mechanics?

p.s.  After a spending a whole extra day trying to get my van working properly and wasting most of the holiday on it, Billy Hirt (who most sensibly is not on this list) said "in a way I'd like to never see another 2.1 liter engine again.  But if we had to do it all again tomorrow I'd happily do it!"

Make a note, anyone who's planning to need a new engine on the road!
