Finally got around to changing the radiator yesterday. I found a used one from an '88 in a u-pull-it lot for $35 and cleaned it up and got the old one out and the new one in in around two hours.

I can't believe how much better the thing cools now!

I drove it hard on the highway then sat in traffic and the gauge barely got above the LED, which, using the 30 second delay technique, no longer blinks.

Thanks again for everybody's help and suggestions.
