Subject: Emergency. Stranded in Pleasanton, CA!
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello group,

Sorry to disturb you all from you all from your memorial day festivities but I really need some help. On the way back to Los Angeles from Oakland my 85 vanagon busted a few belts and started overheating. I also noticed steam coming from a crack a hose that attaches to the coolant tank. This happened Friday late-afternoon and we were forced to leave the van in Pleasanton, CA because it would have cost too much to tow it back to our friend's place in Oakland. My question is this, can anyone recommened a VW mechanic in Pleasanton we can take it to when shops open up on tuesday? Is there one that might possibly be open on monday?!? Anyways, I would really appreciate any input you may have. As always, thanks for your help.

Steve Kim Los Angeles, CA (stranded in pleasanton) 85 vanagon gl
