The bleeder valve on my 87 Westy is leaking. The Autostop valve on the 87 is generally opened for filling the tank. When the tank is full, propane bleeds out and the valve is closed. My problem is that the bleeder won't shut off all the way. After filling the tank, liquid propane drips from this shut off. Finally after much playing around it does mostly stop...a faint smell of propane when the camper is camping. I did rebuild the filling valve, however there was no way to get into the bleeder. Anyone have any ideas, seems crazy to but a whole new tank, Best regards, Finn |
