I just changed over to a South African grille with outer Hella Vision Plus 7" rounds on my 86 Syncro. I just love the look of ths SA grille. My old setup was rectangular lights with a Frank Condelli installed relay system, Hella 100/80 watt 9004 halogen headlamp bulbs, and Hella 100 watt halogen bulbs for the inner square high beams (the lights, bulbs, and rectangular grille are all going on eBay shortly). Anyway, while I was buying various electrical parts at Canadian Tire I noticed a pair of 7" Round Bosch H4's with 60/55 Halogen bulbs for $90 Canadian. Are H4's brighter than H2's? Can I go with a brighter bulb? Is there a 7" round H2 or H4 with city lights as well? Chris P.S. I am not intending to start a "how bright is legal" thread... assume that I only drive my syncro off road when answering. |
