Mark, I have a home-made "tool" for helping bleed the cooling system that could probably work for your needs also. Just buy a schraeder (tire) valve with a surface mount fitting, and a spare burp tank cap (both should be available at FLAPS). Drill a hole in the top of the cap and install the schraeder valve there. Then you can use a bicycle pump to pressurize the cooling system to 10psi or whatever, wait a while and see if it held pressure. Hope it helps. best, Robert H Ithaca, NY 84 Westy - 92 EJ22 At 10:50 AM 6/3/2005 -0400, you wrote: >has anyone been there done that? > >I assume that you take off the burp tank cap and install the pressure >tester there. > >Has someone found a tool that works go for this and installs on the Burp >Tank? > >Can it be found at a flaps? > >Mark |
