Mike, Our '85 GL (built in 09/84) came with full wheel covers made of chromed metal with nine slots around the edge and with black paint to make the slots look like triangles. There five black "lug nuts" and an aluminum nipple with the Wolfsburg castle emblem in the center. Two are in good shape and the two from the rear have lots of stone damage on the nipples. We took them off and replaced them with the older style chrome hub caps. Now I do not need wheel covers because we installed some 15" Audi "turbo" rims. George, '85 Westfalia |
