I can't even remember the name of the previous owner, but he'd hardly recognized my Westy now: different engine different interior Eurospec headlights Projektzwo foglights Different stereo Different steering wheel different shifter different instruments. different wheels and tires different brakes (front and rear discs) Even the shocks, springs and driveshaft are different. I've replaced the covers on the utilities and the side marker lights too. So. Some of my electrical wiring is still the same. The fiberglass poptop is the same. The sheet metal on the outside is still the same. Oh. The mirrors are the same as are the windows. The cabinets (currently) are the same, though cleaner than when I purchased it. Gas tank is the same and the front diff is the same. My Westy doesn't have a name, it has an identity problem. :)
