if you are living in the hot-lanta area I HIGHLY recommend steve at theautobahnsociety.com he has a website , just google what I just listed here for a hit , steve is the man on the westies in your area.it's about all he works on

If you are going to travel go to Larry's roadhaus.com website and check out his state by state list for shops.

Have steve look over your van , if you are not a wrench turner, he will give you peace of mind from the doom-sayers, but they are right replace the fuel lines today's additives and ethanol are hard on the lines , most important enjoy your "new" van!!!! , once you have all the bugs worked out you will find the vanagon to be very reliable and fun to boot.
