Subject:      adding a 2nd Battery; which relay terminal should I connect to?

When I add a second battery to an 86-89 Westy, Bentley (97.34a) shows
the positive line going to terminal 87 on the relay under the drivers
seat.

What do I do with the existing wire on terminal 87?
Leave it connected also or disconnect it and tape it up?

Is this the best way to hook up a 2nd battery with the factory relay?
