 good idea!  i use an iTrip (FM Transmitter) for my iPod - i've heard many people say that they don't like it, but i've found it to work great.  most of the people that don't like it live in urban areas, where's there's not many open station for a very long stretch..........making it necessary to constantly resync w/ new stations........a pain!  if you're camping in the sticks, you'll be fine.

i've had some success using it with a friend in a vehicle in front of me while driving down the road.  last summer, while stuck in traffic, we saw somebody using an iPod w/ and iTrip and asked them what station they were using.  we tuned into it and enjoyed their tunes for a bit.

by itself, i don't think that you'd have much luck using the iTrip for a 200 yard radius.  however, i'm sure that there's something out there that you could use.  you might even find something that you could use a mic with to do a little DJ'ing and make announcements....
