Are these also known as "lined" worm screw hose clamps? I get that type from a local industrial supply house which also services the OTR truck trade. I guess I should say "supplies" the trucker trade to make sure no one thinks I mean "service" as in: "Would you pick up that bar of Dial I just dropped?"

Anyway, if they are the same thing, the clamps are a superior item, a little on the chunky side but, they compress the hose evenly around its full circumference and they will not queef out whenever you are going for that last half turn of the screw. About the only thing better is the constant-torque, lined hose clamps, although, you gotta have some room for those suckers. They have stacked Belleville washers under the worm screw head to maintain a constant tension in the band.
