This is something is started for another list I work with. Stopped after a month of trying to write various filters and retesting and retesting. The difficulties are: 1. bad subject line 2. missing subject line 3. totally of subject subject line 4. then the edit to extract the pertinent data.

This means trying to search on content as well as subject for filtering to the relevant messages and then trying to thread them to a meaningful listing that can be databased.

May try again sometime but it will be many hours to put out a meaningful and useful product. If I do try it again I would be billing but definitely not at a profit level. When I was first looking at it I was looking at about 7.00 per CD mailed in US for that list. If this list is the normal list about 10 gigs of mail space will equate to about 500 megs of useable data for a database.

However someone gave me an idea of another route I may try which I could simply upload a file onto the server that could be downloaded at will and not to hard to occasionally update. Would be useable on windows or mac or unix.
