As an owner of a Vanagon, we learned a bit about camping in them in Minnesota where the mosquito is the official state bird... our first night out was the most miserable night of camping in my life. No one at the VW dealers could solve the problem. Ditto for the VW Vanagon factory that I visited in Germany.
