It looks like I need a new O2 sensor. Was wondering what people think on brands, given the really major differences in price between Bosch and others.

Joy, use only a BOSCH OXY sensor. All others are known to cause problems. You can get the BOSCH one with the wrong plug and short wire but the exact same sensor for way less than the designated Vanagon one. Been using them for years here by splicing the old plug and wire from the old OEM sensor to the new one. From my _Vanagon Items Forsale_ (http://members.aol.com/Fkc43/sales.htm) > OXY sensor, 2.1 engine, BOSCH, 13913 -$85.00 CND. That part number is the BOSCH number so you should be able to find it locally using that number. BTW, Barb arrived here yesterday and was telling Rita and I about your tractor driving skills ! Doing the aux battery install on her van today. _BusFusion_ (http://members.aol.com/BusFusion/bfhome.htm) preparation begins tomorrow. We ARE gonna miss you !
