As to Delorme's Street Atlas 2005, all the back roads and logging roads
in my area are there and accurate. US towns and cities are very
detailed. You can go online and update as to road construction, detours
and such before planning a trip.
I'm not familiar with the paper road atlases from Delorme ... but Street
Atlas 2005 is much better than my Rand McNally US road atlas. As good
as it is ... it doesn't have nearly the detail that Street Atlas has.
Plus ... the paper atlas doesn't tell me how fast I'm going or what my
heading is and it doesn't show me where on the map I'm currently located.
I guess you can tell that I like my earthmate setup, but then, I haven't
tried anything else.
