Use a strong solutions. I used clorox outdoor straight out of the bottle, and am satisfied with the results. I would encourage you to spray it on no matter what you use. The flocking on the ceiling will "move" about when wet, so don't gouge or scrape it. Everything will be fine when it dries out. You don't need to remove the mold, you won't see it when it's bleached. Or I should say you will hardly notice it.
